Cena has been adamant that he'll never wrestle again after his retirement match against Gunther. He has acknowledged that no one in pro wrestling has stayed retired and kept their word, but he's pretty sure about his decision.

In a post on WWE.com, Mark Kaboly shared some of the things to watch out for in John Cena's final match at SNME. One of the things he mentioned under the "What Would Be Shocking" segment was The Rock returning and challenging Cena to one more match at WrestleMania 42.

"But... what it this wasn't, in fact, Cena’s last match. All this press he’s been doing, hammering home that this is it for him, it's just a ploy to make the reveal as shocking as his turn to the dark side 10 months ago. What if it comes full circle from WWE Elimination Chamber? The Rock returns and informs Cena that he wants his soul now, and as his Final Boss, this will be settled at WrestleMania 42 – a rubber match at WrestleMania that is 13 years in the making. Could you imagine?" Kaboly wrote.

The Rock and John Cena faced each other twice in back-to-back WrestleManias in the early 2010s. They have one win over the other, so they are due for a trilogy matchup.

It should also put closure to Cena's heel turn storyline that failed to live up to the hype because Rocky never showed up after it happened.

John Cena receives tribute video from WWE Superstars

To celebrate John Cena's career, WWE has released a bunch of videos on YouTube. One of the videos was a tribute from his fellow stars, with many stars like CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio thanking Cena for his contributions to the industry.

Even some of the baddest men on the planet, like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Bron Breakker, Paul Heyman and Drew McIntyre, broke character to pay tribute to The GOAT.
