Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer recently commented on Nikki Bella's booking at Survivor Series. The star was in a championship match against Stephanie Vaquer. The two former friends kicked off the encounter with a lot of intensity. Nikki got in some initial offense and even hit the Rack Attack 2.0. However, La Primera got her foot on the ropes in time. Stephanie then picked up momentum and finally ended the match with a Devil’s Kiss, followed by a Corkscrew Splash. On a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer detailed that the match made Nikki look weak. He felt the Hall of Famer barely made an impact against Vaquer. The veteran journalist felt that it seemed like Nikki was almost done with this run and would take some time off after the match. "The way that it was done. It was a clean finish, but it was a clean finish in the way that kind of blew off Nikki Bella. I mean, she's got this legendary status thing. It just felt like, I know she's not going anywhere. Like, there's no plans for her to go anywhere. But if I watched this not knowing that, I would think, oh she's going home now. That's how it came off. It came off like the legend came back, she had her little run, and now, she's going home. That's just how clean, not clean but clear-cut. They just didn't give her anything. It was just like, yeah, just like kind of nothing."Nikki Bella is in her final run in WWEDuring a recent interview with ET, Nikki Bella confirmed that this was her final run with the WWE. She mentioned that whenever this current stint came to an end, she would retire from the business for good. "I know that, however long this run is, a year, two years, it will be my last and final. You know, we say never say never, but I'm just being realistic," Nikki said.It will be interesting to see if the Hall of Famer can get one more title run before hanging up her boots. If you use the quotes from this article, please add an H/T to Sportskeeda for the transcript.
