Earlier today, former WWE Superstar Dijak joked about knowing the identity of the person who interfered in the Men's WarGames match. Quote-tweeting a video of the hooded person posted by WWE, the 38-year-old noted that the masked man could not hide his identity from him. He stated that the mystery attacker was a member of The Retribution.

"Can’t fool me, I know RETRIBUTION when I see it," Dijak wrote.

For those who are unaware, Retribution was a heel faction of masked wrestlers seeking to destroy the Stamford-based promotion led by Mustafa Ali. Unfortunately, they had a very brief run and did not feature in any substantial storylines.

Dijak was one of the members of the group. However, as a part of Retribution, he wrestled under the ring name T-Bar. The faction disbanded at Fastlane 2021, after T-Bar and Mace attacked the leader, Mustafa Ali.

Michael Cole believes a WWE Hall of Famer is the mastermind behind the mystery attacker

Amid all the speculation surrounding the identity of the hooded man, WWE commentator Michael Cole believes whoever it might be, Paul Heyman was the mastermind behind it.

After the WarGames match ended, the veteran commentator pointed out that a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, The Oracle stated that he would always be one step ahead of everyone. Cole added that he could guarantee that Heyman had something to do with the mystery attacker.

"Well, I was gonna say, let's talk about Paul Heyman for a moment. A couple of weeks ago, on Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman said, 'I will always be one step ahead in this game.' And once again, Paul Heyman was one step ahead. I'm not sure if he knew that this mystery guy was going to climb into the ring, but knowing Paul Heyman, I guarantee you, he had something to do with it," Cole said.
