Triple H recently disclosed backstage details about how Bray Wyatt's iconic WWE presentation came to be. Wyatt tragically passed away due to a heart attack in August 2023.
Speaking with Complex, Triple H revealed the input he had on Bray Wyatt's iconic entrance in WWE. He noted that the promotion initially wanted to have lasers in Wyatt's entrance, but it didn't feel right. The King of Kings shared that he had a conversation with Wyatt about the direction of his character, and they both agreed on how he should be presented.
"He and I talked about it’s like does this feel right to you? He’s like, ‘no, it doesn’t,’ and I went back and talked to our guys and was like, ‘look, this is the exact opposite. This guy’s from- he’s a cult leader from the swamps. Like, he shouldn’t have(lasers),’ like, as a backwoods guy, he should- what would scare me is him coming through the woods at night, carrying this lantern, and I can barely see his face and make out who he is, and that’s how the concept came to be. Bray was like, ‘I love that,’ and then we started riffing on it and how we could do it," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

Former WWE writer comments on Triple H putting himself over
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared why he thought Triple H always put himself over.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's BroDown show, Russo suggested that the company's Chief Content Officer was boastful because he wanted to make himself indispensable to TKO.
"I mean, they definitely are working the pants off of TKO. I mean, there's no question, no doubt about that. That's why Triple H puts himself all over everything because he's trying to put himself in a position where you know he's cemented in, and you know Ari Emanuel, you know he's bulletproof. That's why he puts himself all over everything. There's a strategy to why Triple H does what he does," Russo said.
It will be fascinating to see if the 56-year-old and WWE's creative team have any surprises planned ahead of Survivor Series 2025 this weekend.
