The Game also talked about the other three matches on the show.John Cena revealed that he rejected an idea from Triple H in his retirement runJohn Cena is set to compete in his final WWE match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, with his opponent to be determined from the Last Time Is Now tournament. However, the rest of the match card will feature rising stars from NXT action.Cena recently revealed that Triple H wanted to dedicate the full show to him, but he rejected the idea because he wanted to showcase up-and-coming stars:"I love the Time Is Now Tournament, that we have some way to earn the chance to be, to qualify as my last opponent. And I really wanna take my hats off to Triple H. I called him up. I said, 'I got an idea. We gotta do two hours for the tribute show. And if you do a whole John Cena tribute, two things are gonna happen. You're either gonna go too much or too little. Never gonna please everybody. I would like to propose that we have big-name WWE Superstars fighting exhibition matches vs. the brightest in NXT. So that way we have a sold-out building,'" he said.Only four stars are remaining in the Last Time Is Now tournament, with Gunther looking like the obvious favorite to win the whole thing. The Ring General is one of the most prominent WWE stars, and could cement himself as the top if he beats Cena in his last match.
