Triple H made major WWE decision to crown top star as new champion, says Hall of Famer (Exclusive)

WWE has a huge event coming up at the end of this week with Saturday Night's Main Event set to emanate from Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 1, 2025. The event will see many of the company's championships be defended on the night, and the fans could be in for multiple title changes.

Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter claims that a recent Triple H decision will factor will one of the matches on the night. Jade Cargill returned to SmackDown last week and saved Tiffany Stratton from a two-on-one attack by Guilia and Kiana James. However, it ended up being a ruse as Cargill then proceeded to attack Tiffany on her own.

This led to a match being announced between the two for Tiffany's title at Saturday Night's Main Event. While discussing the upcoming show on the latest episode of UnSKripted on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Bill Apter said that Jade Cargill's heel turn will result in The Storm finally winning the WWE Women's Championship this Saturday.

"I like the new, improved version of Jade Cargill. They needed to up her one more level, and I think her going crazy over Tiffany Stratton last week on SmackDown proved that they're ready to go one more level up with her. And I think we will find her, by the end of her match with gold around her waist as the new Women's Champion," Apter said.

Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton have been involved with each other since Cargill won the Queen of the Ring tournament and faced Tiffany at WWE SummerSlam. While the Storm has come up short in both the matches they've had since then, the third time could be the charm for the former AEW star.
