Triple H has been labeled as a "horrible animal" by a former WWE name. The Chief Content Officer of the promotion has been under fire for his creative decisions, and Saturday Night's Main Event did little to help him.
The event saw John Cena compete in his final WWE match against Gunther in the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. An intense contest ended with the 17-time World Champion tapping out to the Ring General.
This outcome left many fans angry, as they didn't want to see Super Cena give up in his farewell match. Former WWE writer Vince Russo has also been critical regarding the finish of the match.
Speaking on Vince Russo's The Brand, he blasted The Game for making Cena submit in his last match. He said that it was the complete opposite of the 'never give up attitude' he embodied as the face of the company.

"That's what Cena's whole career was about. Never give up to these kids. That's what it was all about. What does Triple H, that horrible, horrible animal- What does he do, bro? He freaking has the guy who never gives up, give up. Like, that is the complete opposite of what should have been done. The complete opposite," he said.
Vince Russo raised questions over Triple H's future in WWE
On his podcast, Vince Russo mentioned that ESPN is allegedly not happy with WWE and that they also dropped out of Netflix's Top 10 for two weeks in a row.
He said this, combined with the overall booking of John Cena's farewell tour, makes him wonder how Triple H is not yet fired.
Russo said those monitoring the situation in the company should rethink The Game's creative decisions and his position. The fallout from Saturday Night's Main Event has been unexpected for WWE.
