WWE's chief content officer Triple H has broken his silence after Liv Morgan returned from injury to help Dominik Mysterio beat John Cena at Survivor Series: WarGames. The Game even had a surprising message about the new Intercontinental Champion.
After five months in recovery from shoulder surgery, Morgan shocked the WWE Universe when she returned last Saturday. It looked like she helped Cena by slapping Mysterio upon her arrival and jumped into The GOAT's arms.
However, it was part of the plan all along to catch Cena off guard. Dominik Mysterio took advantage of all the help he got to beat the 17-time WWE World Champion to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
On the Survivor Series Post-Show, Triple H was asked by the panel of Joe Tessitore, Peter Rosenberg and Big E about "Dirty" Dom's ceiling as a WWE Superstar. The Game believes that Dominik has unlimited potential, which wasn't on the cards when he was starting out in 2020.
Why did Triple H give up on Austin Theory - Watch Here!
"The ceiling for Dominik Mysterio, there's just isn’t one. At his age, to accomplish the things he has accomplished, to do the things he’s doing, to make the decisions the he has, to step into the ring with John Cena, to beat John Cena, to have Liv Morgan around his arm, to have the people that has around him advising him. A guy that you look back not that long ago, a few years ago, people would have said, 'There’s no really future there.' He has blown that all out of the water. It’s an incredible thing to watch," Triple H said.
Domink Mysterio didn't initially work as a babyface and barely showed any improvement in his first two years. He started turning it around after turning heel and joining Judgment Day in late 2022. He's gotten so good that ESPN named him as the best pro wrestler under 30 for 2025.
Dominik Mysterio calls himself The GOAT
After beating John Cena at Survivor Series: WarGames, Dominik Mysterio bragged about his win at the post-show with Liv Morgan. Dominik went as far as calling himself The GOAT because he was able to beat Cena.
"John Cena has beaten absolutely everybody, am I correct? You name them, Cena’s beaten them. Now, I’ve beaten John Cena. By logic, I’ve also beaten everybody. Greatest of all time? You’re looking at him," Dominik said.
"Dirty" Dom is just 28 years old, so he's still far from his prime. Multiple WWE stars have already praised him and touted him as a future world champion.
