A popular wrestling star's girlfriend, Brittnie Brooks, recently took to social media to send an emotional message amid uncertainty over his future in the pro wrestling world. The name in question is TNA star Chris Bey.In 2024, Chris Bey suffered a horrifying neck injury while teaming up with Ace Austin during their Dark Match against The Hardy Boyz with the TNA World Tag Team Championship on the line. The injury left him paralyzed, after which he was rushed to the hospital and underwent neck fusion surgery.The star is now able to walk after being told he only had a 10-25% chance of ever walking again. Although Bey is hopeful of returning to the squared circle, he has stated multiple times that doctors have told him he might never wrestle again.Amid his hiatus, Chris Bey's girlfriend, Brittnie Brooks, recently took to Instagram to dedicate an emotional post to the TNA Wrestling star. Brooks shared the story of how she learned about Bey's injury, saying that their lives changed forever that day. She also thanked TNA for its support in the star's setback."One year ago today, our lives changed forever when @dashingchrisbey suffered a severe spinal cord injury and broken neck during a match. By far the worst day of my life, hearing the news and being so unsure about what was going on. Thanks to TNA and their quick reaction time, I was able to make it to the hospital in Detroit, literally about 12 hrs after the injury happened, despite living across the country in Arizona at the time," she wrote.Brooks also revealed that Chris Bey was not able to move his fingers when he got hurt, but he kept pushing through, and in a few weeks after being discharged from the hospital, he started walking.She also sent a loving message to Bey, writing that he inspires her every day and she was extremely proud of him."I will never understand the pain he went thru, (and continues to go thru daily), but his drive and dedication inspires me daily to constantly be better. I'm so honored to be by his side and be able to call him mine. I love you so much @dashingchrisbey, and proud is an understatement.
