John Cena is set to make an appearance on NXT tonight. Therefore, WWE showcased him in the show's vignette.Cena is towards the end of his farewell tour and is only weeks away from hanging up his boots. Therefore, he has been making many special appearances in recent weeks. He recently competed in his final RAW match. Last week on NXT, Ava announced that Cena would select the participants of the Iron Survivor Challenge this week on week 2 of NXT Gold Rush.Therefore, Cena was featured in the opening vignette, showcasing the preview of what is to be expected in the show. The vignette showed Cena perform his signature taunt while showing Tavion Heights, Lexis King, Jordynne Grace, Je'Von Evans, Joe Hendry, and Karmen Petrovic in the background. Before Cena was shown, the narrator said:"As deadline approaches, the time to act is now..."CJ Perry doesn't want John Cena to retireAs John Cena's retirement draws close, many fans are sad to see the Cenation leader hang up his boots. However, his retirement will make even industry veterans and current WWE stars upset.Speaking on TMZ's Inside The Ring, CJ Perry said that she doesn't believe Cena is retiring next month. She also admitted that she doesn't want the 17-time World Champion to retire."I mean, please. The biggest worker of them all is John Cena. Like, I will never believe that John Cena or The Undertaker are retiring or Triple H. I just think it's a gimmick. Like they're all retiring because it's the gimmick, you know? We're all going to buy the merchandise and the towel. And of course, I'm going to buy the towel and the cup and everything because, God forbid, this is his last time, and I don't want to be that person to be like, 'Oh yeah, he's coming back.'
