Former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul is undoubtedly one of the most 'hated' stars in the history of professional wrestling. The star being a heel is one thing, and fans naturally hating him even when he tries to be a babyface is another, and that could leave him as a heel forever.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk made an appearance on What's for Lunch? recently, and addressed Paul being hated by everyone, and revealed what he thought about it. The legend stated that it was one of the most admirable things for any WWE star, as being hated by everyone was money now.
Not only that, but Punk also stated that with Paul doing more work as a heel, it was not necessary, and that Paul needed to 'pump the brakes' when it comes to doing more heel work and generating more heat.
“I understand the criticisms (about Logan Paul), and I would probably be levying them heavy against him if I was CM Punk from like 10 years ago. But to see him take it seriously and want to do more, but the way the business is now, it's almost just like, pump the brakes. You don't need to do more. It’s fascinating because everybody hates this dude, and I think that's one of the more admirable things about him. How much everybody hates him ‘cause in our business, that means money. That’s dollars,” stated Punk [H/T WrestlePurists]
