Stephanie Vaquer shares major update following recent injury concern

Stephanie Vaquer shared a major update ahead of tonight's edition of WWE RAW in Anaheim, California. La Primera defeated IYO SKY to capture the vacant Women's World Championship last month at Wrestlepalooza 2025.

Vaquer got the better of The Judgment Day's Roxanne Perez last week in a singles match. However, she was attacked by Raquel Rodriguez after the match and seemingly suffered an injury during the brawl.

The Women's World Champion took to her Instagram story today to provide a major update on her status. She revealed that she was in town for tonight's episode of WWE RAW, and you can check out her update in the image below.

Vaquer defeated Tiffany Stratton to become the Women's Crown Jewel Champion at the PLE earlier this month in Perth, Australia.

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently commented on Stephanie Vaquer capturing the Women's World Championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo criticized the 32-year-old for her promos and suggested that she should not be champion. Russo added that when he was in the company, there was no way somebody who couldn't cut a promo would be placed in a prominent position.

"You talk about Stephanie Vaquer, whatever her freaking name is. I just wrote a note about her. It's just funny, bro, because depending on how far you got pushed or how far up the ladder you climbed, a big part of that is being able to cut a promo. That is non-existent today. I swear to God. The fact that the belt is on this woman and the way she delivers and cuts a promo. Like, there's no way when I was working, she would have ever got to that level not having the ability to cut a promo," he said.
