WWE star Solo Sikoa recently spoke about why it was special to compete in the WarGames Match last year. The star was the captain of his team at Survivor Series.

Solo led his team, involving Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Bronson Reed, to war last year. They faced off against the original Bloodline members Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, The Uso, and CM Punk. The match involved several high-risk spots, with the babyfaces finally emerging victorious.

This week on WWE Playback, Solo and his MFTs rewatched last year's WarGames match. The Street Champ mentioned that this was one of his favorite matches of all time. He pointed out that the encounter was emotionally important because it involved all of his family members going up against one another.

Sikoa was also able to showcase everything he had learned from his cousins during the encounter.

"This WarGames match is one of my favorite matches. I was able to do it with all the boys in my family. You know, against the guys that, you know what I'm saying, that taught me everything, man, when I first started here on the main roster. And to be able to veer off and lead the group on my own, because of the training that I learned from Roman and the Usos. It's cool. It's a cool moment, man. Yeah."

Solo Sikoa was the sole survivor this year

This week on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa led his MFTs into battle against the team of Sami Zayn, the Motor City Machine Guns, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rey Fenix in a traditional Five-on-Five Survivor Series Elimination Match.

The action-packed match was the main event of this week's SmackDown. It came down to Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa as the final men for their respective teams. After a brief battle, Solo hit a vicious Samoan Spike on his opponent to claim the win.
