Shawn Michaels sleeping with major male WWE name could have happened, says ex-star

Shawn Michaels has been the talk of the town ever since WWE legend Bret Hart alleged that the Heartbreak Kid and Vince McMahon were lovers. Michaels' ex-colleague, Rene Dupree, shared his thoughts on the same, noting that the rumors could be true.

Bret Hart recently caused a huge buzz in the wrestling world as he noted during a recent interview that Shawn was sleeping with the former WWE Chairman. The Hitman added that HBK was jealous of him and thus slept with Mr. McMahon to rise in power.

Speaking on the Cafe De Rene podcast, Rene Dupree noted that this is not the first time he has heard about rumors of Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon being more than friends and colleagues.

"I can’t say anything bad about Shawn Michaels. He always treated me f***ing great. He was always very nice to me and very helpful to me. But this is not the first that I have heard of this.”

The former WWE star added that Honky Tonk Man has also alleged the same in the past. Rene also noted that while it is tough to believe anything you hear in the wrestling business, the rumors could be true:

“Then of course the infamous Honky Tonk Man… He goes, ‘And Shawn, if you weren’t Vince’s boy toy, you’d be gone and you know that. Everybody knows it.’ Then again it’s the wrestling business and you believe in nothing that you hear and three quarters of what you see. and it could be just bitterness. It could just jealousy but who knows, maybe where there’s flames there’s fire.”
