Seth Rollins' status for WrestleMania 42 remains up in the air after undergoing shoulder surgery last month. Rollins' bitter rival, CM Punk, can't help but take aim at The Visionary ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames.

Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel: Perth during his match against Cody Rhodes. He was written out two days later on RAW, getting attacked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed and kicked out of The Vision.

As part of the promotion for Survivor Series, CM Punk was a guest on Kay Adams' Up and Adams Show. Punk was asked about WWE's tactic to have a single ticket for each night of WrestleMania 42 next year. He thought it was a good idea before using it to take some shots at Seth Rollins.

"The single ticket thing is interesting because it affords somebody like Seth Rollins the ability to buy a ticket because his wife will undoubtedly be on the show and he will be on the sideline. So, he can buy a ticket by himself. He could sit in the chair. If he spends enough money, he can take the chair home with him and he can repeatedly beat himself in the head with it," Punk said.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Seth Rollins hints at his possible return before WrestleMania 42

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins were the special guests for the latest episode of Bert Kreischer's YouTube show called Something's Burning. At one point in the show, Rollins teased about returning before WrestleMania 42.

"It'll probably be gradual. I don't even really know. It'll be—my guess is about eight to 12 weeks of like, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a**hole.’ Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season. So I'm hoping around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Okay, lock in. No more BS.’ Give myself a month before I come back-ish, maybe—don't even know. They say six months, so this could be April," Rollins said. [H/T WrestlePurists]

The recovery timeline for most shoulder surgeries is around six months. He underwent surgery in October, so there's a chance he'll get cleared by April.
