Scarlett Bordeaux and Karrion Kross left WWE earlier this year after their contracts expired. They have since made appearances at numerous independent events and have amassed a huge fan following. The former WWE star looked nearly unrecognizable, dressing up as Mystique of the X-Men franchise for the holidays. The Marvel comics character has the ability to morph into any person, and Scarlett did an incredible job with her costume.Stars such as Scarlett's husband, Karrion Kross, Maxxine Dupri, and Shotzi reacted to the post with a comment. Fans were left in awe of the costume, and they also shared their appreciation in the form of likes and comments on the post.Scarlett recalls how she "sneaked" back into programming after a lengthy absenceDespite fans clamoring to see Karrion Kross and Scarlett receive a strong push, they couldn't climb up to the next level in their careers on the main roster. For almost three months, Scarlett was written off television and wasn't booked in Kross' segments.While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, The Smokeshow recalled how AJ Styles helped her "sneak" into their segment in the ring."A few months went by, [and] AJ is supposed to be in this backstage [segment] with us. And he's like, 'Doesn't make sense that you're not in this.' And I'm like, 'Well, that's what I thought, too. But every week they said no.' AJ went to the office, got approved that I could be in it later on, we shoot [sic] that. And one of the producers comes up to me and says, 'How did you sneak yourself in there?'" Bordeaux said. She and Kross last feuded with Sami Zayn before leaving the promotion.
