Nick Khan has spoken out about WWE stars' pay, describing the pay structure by naming Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and others. However, not everyone is making that same amount of money.
Nick Khan speaks out about WWE pay structure
Nick Khan, speaking about the pay scale and which WWE star was making how much in Ring Magazine, said it was a meritocracy in the company. He said that if a star was marketable, they would be paid very well, naming CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Brock Lesnar as stars at this level.
However, he said, without naming any stars, that if they were in the middle, they would not get rich but would still be able to lead a comfortable life.

"It’s a meritocracy. If you make it to the top and you’re marketable, you get paid. That’s how any job should be. In WWE, if you’re Roman Reigns, if you’re Brock Lesnar, if you’re Cody Rhodes, all the guys at the top of our game, CM Punk — they’re getting rich. If you’re in the middle, you’re not getting rich, but you have a really good life."
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes aside, what is WWE pay like?
The WWE executive shared his thoughts on a variety of things and plans for TKO as well. It seems that the picture is clear as to the pay scale and model for WWE stars, with Developmental stars getting entry-level pay, as has been seen before, NXT stars in a slightly better, yet still precarious position, main roster stars getting comfortable enough pay to live a good life, and for the top stars to get quite rich.
As for exact figures, those numbers have yet to emerge, but we should have a better idea in the future of what stars are being paid.
While numbers often leak, exact figures are yet to be known. Still, for main roster stars, the number is expected to be around $350,000 per year, which is a very comfortable sum.
