Roman Reigns broke his silence today on social media after not making an appearance at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. John Cena tapped out to Gunther in his retirement match last night at SNME.

The Tribal Chief was not at Saturday Night's Main Event but had a busy week elsewhere. The former champion appeared at The Game Awards earlier this week to present an award and to promote the new Street Fighter movie alongside the rest of the cast.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have both been cast in the film set to be released in October 2026. Reigns broke his silence today following his appearance at The Game Awards, and you can check out his message in the post below.

Reigns teamed up with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos to battle The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series. A masked man interfered in the match and attacked CM Punk, and Bron Breakker capitalized on the attack for the victory.

Bron Breakker will be challenging CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on the January 5, 2026, episode of WWE RAW. Reigns has not been in action since the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series.

Major WWE star claims Roman Reigns is his greatest rival

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently named Roman Reigns as his greatest rival in the company.

The American Nightmare battled NXT Champion Oba Femi at Saturday Night's Main Event, but Drew McIntyre interfered to end the match via disqualification. Speaking on his What Do You Want to Talk About? podcast, Rhodes named Reigns as his greatest rival and his favorite star to work with.

"I hate using him [Roman Reigns] as an example, but my greatest rival in this company, I don't even have to say his name, it's as real as it could possibly get.
