A popular performer who was let go by the WWE earlier this month recently had surgery. The star provided an update on his health in a recent social media post.At first, it was announced that Ridge Holland's contract with WWE would not be extended. But soon after he went off on social media, the 37-year-old was instantly let go. The former NXT Tag Team Champion recently revealed that he has undergone surgery.Earlier today, Ridge Holland took to Instagram to share more details. The English star noted that he had nerve impingement due to two collapsed discs in his neck. The day before, Holland wrote, he had disc replacement surgery, which "was deemed to be very successful.""After experiencing pain and lack of mobility due to pain in my neck, I consulted with doctors and had tests taken that determined that I had two collapsed discs in my neck, resulting in nerve impingement. Yesterday I underwent disc replacement surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan with Dr. Sheeraz Qureshi.
