Sami Zayn will win the big World title, says Vince Russo

Speaking on a recent episode of BroDown on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge with Mac Davis, Vince Russo spoke about the reasoning for Sami Zayn's loss. He said that there was a very simple reason that the company took the title from him and that was so that he could win the World Championship. He said that they were getting him ready for the title and that he would be competing for it in the coming days.

He went on to add that all Zayn needed for that was to win the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, as they would not even need a story or anything to get him into the picture.

Sami Zayn has not been medically cleared to wrestle since losing to Ilja Dragunov

Although Sami Zayn has been trying quite regularly to get back into wrestling since losing to Ilja Dragunov, the star has not been allowed to by the SmackDown General Manager.

Nick Aldis has repeatedly told him that he's not medically cleared, no matter how much he wants to go against Solo Sikoa and the MFTs.

At this time, it's uncertain when he'll return.
