Former WWE star Priscilla Kelly, fka Gigi Dolin, reportedly has heat with the company. The star recently made some explosive comments about developmental salaries in NXT. During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Kelly pulled the curtain behind the salaries in NXT. She addressed some of the financial realities of wrestling stars and busted some misconceptions. The star mentioned that fans believed that most WWE Superstars were millionaires and were earning tons of money. However, Dolin revealed that some NXT contracts were paying as low as $30,000 a year. Wrestling analyst Bryan Alvarez on the Wrestling Observer Radio recently mentioned that Kelly's comments did not sit well with management. Alvarez explained that the base salary for television talent was significantly higher than the $30,000 number quoted by the star. He also detailed that established stars like Jordynne Grace and Ricky Saints made even more. He also shed light on the pay structure for the new ID program."She mentioned that people made as little as $30,000 and, man, people in WWE were not happy with that interview, because nobody is making $30,000 in NXT. The NXT deals start at $75,000. So, if you’re on television wrestling on NXT television as a contracted performer, you’re making at minimum $75,000. Now, if you are a Jordynne Grace or a Ricky Saints or whoever, you’re obviously going to be making more than that. Nobody is making $30,000, but at the same time, the ID talent – nobody is making close to $30,000. They’re making significantly less because essentially the contracts are [that] we have the right to match any offer," Alvarez said.
