WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda needs all the prayers and support from the fans, as his former tag team partner, Barry Windham, recently revealed that the veteran is in hospice right now.
Whether it was WCW, NWA, or WWE, The U.S. Express were one of the most decorated tag teams of their time in the industry. Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda dominated the tag team division across the United States during their prime. Recently, Windham broke some unfortunate news regarding Rotunda.
In an interview with Bill Apter on 1WrestlingVideo's YouTube channel, the multi-time tag team champion was asked about Bray Wyatt. During this, Windham refrained from answering too much about The Eater of the Worlds, as he revealed that his former tag team partner and Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt's father, Mike Rotunda, is currently in hospice care.
"It's kinda tough right, you know, because Mike [Rotunda] is in hospice right now. Anyway, that family, I love that family, but it's so tragic," Windham said.

The U.S. Express was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024
2023 was an unfortunate year for the Rotunda family as Bray Wyatt passed away on 24th August. The wrestling world mourned the untimely passing of the former WWE and Universal Champion, as fans wanted to see him back in the ring since he missed out on WrestleMania 39. Moreover, wrestlers and fans paid tributes to one of the most creative minds in professional wrestling.
In the following year, Triple H had a conversation with The U.S. Express, aka Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham, and the Chief Content Officer revealed that the veterans were getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. This was the 14-time World Champion's first Hall of Fame event following the merger.
The veterans received one of the loudest cheers from the crowd in Philadelphia, and the fans honored the late Bray Wyatt with fireflies to close The U.S. Express' induction into the Hall of Fame.
