Wrestling veteran wants Drew McIntyre to win major WWE title

Drew McIntyre has been chasing gold without any success for some time now. His most recent unsuccessful attempt was against the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Speaking on his K100 podcast, wrestling veteran Konnan pointed out that he wanted McIntyre to finally get his hands on the title. The 61-year-old hailed the SmackDown star for his all-round work.

"I agree they should put the title on Drew McIntyre. Enough already, as Disco [Inferno] would say. Already in shape, looks like a star. Thank God they got rid of that cheesy sword that you knew he would never use, and it was named after his mother, something like that. Come on, dude. He can talk. He works social media perfectly. Bro, he’s all around perfect. Give him the title, let’s see what happens," Konnan said.

With WWE Survivor Series: WarGames less than two weeks away, the entire focus is on the multi-star matches slated for the premium live event. However, it will be intriguing to see if McIntyre continues his pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship after November 29.
