"Oh sh*t" - CM Punk finally addresses doing the "unthinkable" in WWE

WWE Superstar CM Punk recently talked about a massive moment in his professional wrestling career, which came as a shock to everyone. The Best in the World is the current World Heavyweight Champion.

After almost a decade-long hiatus from WWE, CM Punk surprisingly returned to the TKO-led promotion at the 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. Many fans believe this return was one of the greatest comebacks in wrestling history.

During his recent interview on World Wrestling Entertainment's YouTube, CM Punk reacted to his 2023 return to the Stamford-based promotion. The Best in the World talked about the haircut he had upon his return before labelling his comeback "unthinkable."

"That is me coming back. I don't know what's going on with my hair; I was in flux. That is the 'Oh sh*t, I have to be on television haircut.' That's what that is, we're gonna call it that. But this is me in all my glory, doing again the unthinkable, returning to the WWE after just a little bit of a 10-year hiatus," he said.

CM Punk believes he is nearing his WWE retirement

During the same interview on World Wrestling Entertainment's YouTube, CM Punk revealed that he was nearing the end of his professional wrestling career, and he was not sure how much longer he could continue competing inside the ring.

"I mean, it's humbling, sobering maybe, to look back, you know, because I'm not done, but I definitely think the road to the end is a lot shorter than the road from here to when I started is, you know. I don't know how long I've got left, but looking back, I can definitely say like I had a good career, you know, I'm one of one," he said.

It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for CM Punk's future in the professional wrestling world.
