A 35-year-old star isn't a big fan of The Hardy Boyz. The legendary tag team recently featured on WWE programming on NXT as part of the promotion's partnership with TNA.

They went on to win the NXT tag team titles before dropping them to DarkState at Halloween Havoc. The Hardys still hold the TNA Tag Team Championship; however, Grayson Waller isn't impressed.

During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, the Australian WWE star said he believes The New Day are better than The Hardy Boyz.

"They’re just falling off a ladder. That's so hard? I could do that. You know how many fail videos I've seen on YouTube of people, old people, falling off ladders? I've seen it happen before. I'm not impressed with the Hardys. I think The New Day would dog walk the Hardys," he said.

While The Hardy Boyz have featured on WWE TV, they have not been a part of WWE's main roster since 2021. They remain one of the iconic tag teams of all time having won titles in WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor.

Waller has aligned himself with The New Day ever since quietly splitting with former tag team partner Austin Theory.

The Hardy Boyz could return to WWE for another run

Over the years, The Hardy Boyz have had more than a few stints in WWE. They famously returned to the promotion at WrestleMania 33 and also were part of TNA's invasion storyline against NXT.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt said they are open to another run with the company.

He said that the sports entertainment giant sees them as a legacy team born and bred in WWE. He mentioned they could return for another run on NXT and maybe even have stints on RAW and SmackDown in the future.

If this turns out to be true, they might already find an opponent in The New Day waiting for them.
