"Not a celebrity anymore" - Last holder of a WWE title commends Logan Paul after the 2025 Survivor Series

Logan Paul helped his team win the Men’s WarGames match at the 2025 Survivor Series. Praising the natural heat magnet, Hornswoggle recently dropped high praise for Paul, saying he has ascended beyond the tag of a celebrity.

The last holder of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship appeared on the latest episode of TMZ's Inside The Ring. Speaking about The Maverick, Hornswoggle said he is a legitimate WWE Superstar. The 39-year-old mentioned that he would have received a lot of hate for saying this two years ago, but not anymore.

"I say it almost weekly, Logan Paul is not a celebrity anymore. Logan Paul is a WWE Superstar… It’s funny to think that way. Go back two years ago, if I said that, I would have gotten hate after hate after hate. You cannot deny Logan Paul as a WWE Superstar… There's there's no arguing that. He's proven himself… If he sucked, that spotlight would be turned off. Simple,” he said.

Paul is a former United States Champion and won the title by defeating Rey Mysterio at the 2023 Crown Jewel. The YouTube star butted heads with the Hall of Famer on last week’s episode of RAW and may start another feud with him.

Former WWE writer also praised Logan Paul

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently appeared on the Ariel Helwani Show. He was talking about his grievances with the promotion and how it hasn't been delivering good shows for fans. He also noted that Logan Paul is the best pro wrestler in the company right now and remarked that it was embarrassing.

The former United States Champion responded to a clip of this segment on X and tweeted that the praise was humbling. Paul is currently working with The Vision and is functioning like an addition to the group, as he's involved in the faction’s segments.

The Maverick was the first wrestler to join hands with Paul Heyman for the 2025 Survivor Series. He punched CM Punk with brass knuckles and handed the weapon to The Oracle on the Monday Night Show to prove his loyalty.

Interestingly, the YouTube star was backstabbed by Brock Lesnar and the rest of the WarGames men’s heel team on RAW. Paul got cornered by the babyface team as a result, who jumped him and poured a few bottles of PRIME on his motionless body. It remains to be seen how long The Maverick will remain friendly with The Vision.
