WWE has been advised to make a major change regarding Jey Uso by a former on-screen manager. The YEET Master has been placed as one of the biggest stars of the promotion, winning the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match and the World Heavyweight Championship. The name in question is Dutch Mantell.

A big part of his character has been his entrance, where Jey comes out to the ring through the crowd. The entrance, which sees Jey Uso YEETing, has been so popular that the former World Champion runs it back in the middle of his matches at times.

However, there has been criticism that his entrance is a little too long and takes away from his matches. On Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager discussed this and said the entrances are way too long, suggesting WWE cut them down.

"WWE, I love you to death, guys, but come on. I mean, some of those entrances are way, way too long. You know who he is. By the time he gets to the ring, hey. I don’t think nobody is buying a ticket or watching on TV just to see him walk down the aisle," he said.

During the podcast, Mantell also argued that his character has become stale with the fans, and the creative team might turn him heel to see how things work out.

Jey Uso announced a return to the tag team division on RAW

This week on RAW, The Usos interrupted a segment between The New Day and WWE World Tag Team Champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

They revealed that they are returning to the tag team division and are eyeing the top spot. Despite a successful singles run for Jey Uso, this is an interesting pivot.

However, in recent weeks WWE has been teasing a heel turn for the former world champion, and it remains to be seen if they pull the trigger on that change.
