Former WWE trainer praises Nikki Bella

Wrestling veteran Bill Demott recently praised Nikki Bella following her return to the company.

Bella returned to the promotion earlier this year and has turned heel during her rivalry with Stephanie Vaquer on RAW. She challenged Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship earlier this year at Clash in Paris but came up short. Maxxine Dupri captured the title from Lynch last night on RAW thanks to a distraction by AJ Lee.

Speaking with legendary journalist Bill Apter, Demott noted that Bella's return to the promotion was amazing because it looked like she had never left. Demott added that he was grateful to be associated with WWE during his career.

"It's like she never left. It's amazing." He continued, "I remember the time she started, and she looked like that. It's like nothing has changed. She looks great, great energy. I just, I never say this in public ever, but I'm really grateful for the career that WWE afforded me."
