The 42-year-old challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the Women's World Championship at the premium live event. Bella put in a praiseworthy effort in an attempt to secure her first title win after a decade. Unfortunately, it was not enough, as La Primera ended the contest with a Corkscrew Splash to retain the gold.

WWE recently posted a video of Nikki Bella addressing her loss. The former two-time WWE Divas Champion stated that despite the setback, she was not going anywhere.

Wrestling journalist is disappointed with Nikki Bella's booking at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames

Popular wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer expressed his disappointment with Bella's booking at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames while speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer stated that the creative team did not give Bella anything to work with, making her look very weak. He noted that it seemed like this was the last match of the veteran's current run in the wrestling promotion.

"The way that it was done. It was a clean finish, but it was a clean finish in the way that kind of blew off Nikki Bella. I mean, she's got this legendary status thing. It just felt like, I know she's not going anywhere. Like, there's no plans for her to go anywhere. But if I watched this not knowing that, I would think, 'Oh, she's going home now.' That's how it came off. It came off like the legend came back, she had her little run, and now, she's going home. That's just how clean, not clean but clear-cut. They just didn't give her anything. It was just like, yeah, just like kind of nothing."

The loss against Stephanie Vaquer at the premium live event was Nikki Bella's fifth in as many matches. It will be interesting to see if she can bounce back from the consecutive defeats and get back to winning ways.
