WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is heading to Saturday Night’s Main Event to face Oba Femi. The Ruler defeated Ricky Saints to become a two-time NXT Champion at Deadline to earn a match against Rhodes at the December 13, 2025, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, Nick Aldis recently revealed that Femi could be replaced at SNME by Je’Von Evans. The Young OG won the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline to earn a shot at the NXT Championship. He claimed his title shot on this week’s episode of the developmental brand.Tweeting the video clip of the segment on X, Nick Aldis wrote that he is excited to see which of the two men would make it to SNME to face Cody Rhodes.“Opportunity is knocking, somebody needs to answer! The stakes have never been higher for these two men. I look forward to seeing the winner at Saturday Night's Main Event. Good luck, Gentlemen.”While Je’Von Evans had a chance to win the NXT Championship and face the Undisputed Champion at SNME, Ricky Saints cost him the title match. The Young OG had The Ruler pinned for more than three seconds after landing the Trifecta. However, the referee got pulled out of the ring by Saints before he could complete the count.Evans launched himself at Saints outside the ring, but when he came back, Oba Femi was ready and took him out with a power bomb to retain the title. With this, Femi now has three wins over Evans and will now head to SNME to face Cody Rhodes.Cody Rhodes wants Drew McIntyre back on WWE SmackDownWhile the Undisputed Champion will be busy on Saturday Night’s Main Event against Oba Femi, he isn’t done with Drew McIntyre yet. Last week’s episode of SmackDown saw The Scottish Warrior trying to enter the arena when he was stopped by Nick Aldis and the WWE security team in the parking lot. While the General Manager asked McIntyre to leave since he was suspended, the latter argued that Paul Heyman had lifted his suspension. He also claimed that his team won the Men’s WarGames match at the 2025 Survivor Series, so he should be brought back on the blue-branded show. When Aldis didn’t budge, The Scottish Psychopath said he was leaving because he didn’t want to hurt anyone from the security team. However, Cody Rhodes got into McIntyre’s truck from the passenger side and clawed at his face and eyes. The security managed to restrain The American Nightmare, allowing McIntyre to drive away.Immediately after, the Undisputed Champion cut a promo to kick off the show and asked GM Aldis to reinstate Drew McIntyre. He called the former World Heavyweight Champion the resident cockroach of WWE and promised to stomp him out soon. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead in this feud.
