WWE Superstar Nathan Frazer released an update after a 28-year-old wrestler went through a shocking incident. Notably, Frazer’s teammate, Axiom, got his mask taken off on this week’s episode of SmackDown by Candice LeRae.Fraxiom competed against The DIY on the blue-branded show after feuding backstage for a few weeks. The final moments of the match saw Axiom landing a Spanish Fly on Johnny Gargano. Tomasso Ciampa tried to intervene in a pinfall attempt, but Frazer took him out with a dive.The two-time NXT Tag Team Champion and one-time NXT UK Heritage Cup winner went to the top rope to land a final blow on Gargano, but Candice LeRae, who was standing at the ringside to support DIY, unmasked him.This allowed her husband, Gargano, to go for an easy pin as Axiom hid his face with his hands. Following this, Frazer took to X and posted an image of his tag team partner with a towel over his head, stating that his partner was fine."Axiom is fine."Taking off the mask of a lucha libre wrestler is considered a low act across the board in pro wrestling. Despite this, several heel superstars pull this move off to get an unfair advantage. LeRae didn’t seem remorseful of her actions, and instead, was waving Axiom’s mask as a trophy.Axiom crossed Tomasso Ciampa last week on WWE SmackDownFraxiom and DIY have been rivals since their NXT days. Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano had even launched an attack on Frazer and Axiom shortly after they arrived on the main roster. Last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw Axiom crossing Ciampa when he stole the DIY member’s chance to challenge Ilja Dragunov for the United States Championship.Notably, Ciampa has been wanting a title shot against The Mad Dragon for several weeks. However, the Russian wrestler has been avoiding the 40-year-old star. Instead of fighting him, Dragunov has been giving chances to other wrestlers, one of them being Ciampa’s teammate, Johnny Gargano.Last week, despite reaching out to the US Champ first and claiming a title shot, Ciampa got told off that he won’t fight jack**es. Axiom got a title shot against Dragunov instead, which angered the DIY member even more.Instead of the former WWE Tag Team Champion, however, Candice LeRae went for a personal attack on the Spanish wrestler this week.
