Amid his absence from television, the former WWE Tag Team Champion recently teased bringing a massive change to his on-screen character.Before The Street Profits' sudden disappearance from the blue brand, the Stamford-based promotion teased tension between Ford and his tag team partner, Angelo Dawkins. It led to a lot of speculation about King Tez finally going on his highly anticipated singles run.Montez Ford recently took to X/Twitter to post a short video of himself teasing massive changes in his current character. It must also be noted that The Street Profits usually accompany each other in such videos. The duo even won the WWE Tag Team Championship in March, which they lost to The Wyatt Sicks' Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy in July.The Street Profits attempted to win the title back but to no avail. In fact, their last match on Friday Night SmackDown was for the gold on the October 10 edition of the blue brand.Amid their absence from SmackDown, The Street Profits wrestled a match against Los Garza at WWE Main Event. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins secured the win over the Mexican stars. Ford had also registered a win in singles competition at WWE Main Event a week prior, as he defeated Pretty Deadly's Kit Wilson.While The Wyatt Sicks have begun their rivalry with Solo Sikoa-led MFTs, it remains to be seen what plans the wrestling promotion has in store for The Street Profits going forward.
