WWE Superstar Maxxine Dupri revealed what she was hoping to accomplish as the Women's Intercontinental Champion. The Alpha Academy member captured the title from Becky Lynch last month on WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden in New York.
In an interview with Abe Kanan, Maxxine Dupri was asked about what was next for her as the reigning Women's Intercontinental Champion. She praised Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch for elevating the title during their reigns and revealed that she was hoping to do the same.
“You know, I think I have two thoughts on this. My first thought is that I do believe that Becky Lynch took this title and Lyra Valkyria took this title and elevated it and made it big time, and that is my goal is to continue to elevate this title. I want this title to be special for the women. With that being said, I know I have a lot of growth to do. So with every match, I want to keep getting to a place where I am just absolutely dominating and I’m a killer in the ring. I think with that, we’ll bring the next steps. But right now, my focus is making sure that this title is a big-time title," she said. [H/T: Fightful]
