Maxxine Dupri breaks silence on unexpected bond with WWE veteran: "It's really special"

WWE star Maxxine Dupri recently spoke about her close relationship with Natalya. The two stars have become great friends over the last few years.

Dupri was an exciting prospect on the WWE main roster. Although she was green in the ring, the star possessed a lot of charisma. After a short stint with the Maximum Male Models, she joined the Alpha Academy under the guidance of Master Gable. In the background, Maxxine was training in the Hart Dungeon and improving her craft.

Maxxine Dupri was a guest on this week's episode of Huge Pop! Radio with Donnie DaSilva and Jimmy Korderas. During the interview, she talked about how she bonded with Natalya despite their different backgrounds. Maxxine noted that they were both determined girls, and Nattie was always there to help her.

"I think with Nattie, I just read her book, which is just unbelievable. Her story is so amazing, but I think that's also why, even though we have such different backgrounds, right? She was born into a family that loved wrestling. I also think like we had a lot of similarities, you know, where she was fighting for this moment and like training really hard. And I think like we see that in each other, and like we just really have this special bond and she's someone that like I go to for everything and she always answers, is always there for me. It's really special."

Maxxine Dupri is the Women's Intercontinental Champion

On the November 17 edition of RAW, Maxxine Dupri did the unthinkable when she pinned Becky Lynch to become the new Women's Intercontinental Champion. The star won her first title on the main roster inside the historic Madison Square Garden.
