Maxxine Dupri has broken her silence after winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship last Monday. Dupri shared her first comments after taking home her first title in WWE.
In one of the biggest RAW episodes of the year, the Alpha Academy star challenged Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship at Madison Square Garden. Lynch controlled most of the match, but Dupri had a lot of fight in her.
The Man was so desperate that she tried to remove the cover of one of the turnbuckles before AJ Lee returned to distract her rival. It allowed Maxxine Dupri to hit a Flying Crossbody to beat Lynch and become the new Women's Intercontinental Champion.
On the WWE vlog post on YouTube about her title win, Dupri shared her first comments after her triumph.

"I saw my life flash before my eyes in that moment. The sound of the crowd was the best thing that I have experienced in my whole life. It was so electric. I think I finally understand why people are like, ‘It’s addicting.’ I’m feening for it already. New York was the best place for this to happen. I couldn’t be happier. I can’t believe this is real life," Dupri said.
Maxxine Dupri also celebrated the title win with her parents, as well as longtime boyfriend Anthony Luke, who were all present backstage.
Maxxine Dupri successfully defends her title for the first time
Five days after winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship, Maxxine Dupri had her first unofficial title defense at an NXT live event in Sanford, Florida, as per Cagematch. She defended her championship against Lainey Reid, who is a current member of the NXT roster and Fatal Influence.
Reid started it all by calling out any woman who has a title to put it on the line and face her inside the ring. Dupri answered the challenge and successfully retained the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
It will be interesting to see if Becky Lynch gets an immediate rematch amid her tantrums against Adam Pearce and involvement in the Women's WarGames Match.
