Massive new role for Jimmy Uso pitched in WWE amid growing tensions with Jey Uso

While Jey Uso is just one step away from becoming the World Heavyweight Champion in WWE, fans are also eager to see how things pan out for Jimmy Uso. Amid this, Sam Roberts has pitched the idea of Jimmy going rogue and becoming the Bloodline Hunter.

Fans were in for a rude shock when Jey eliminated Jimmy Uso from the Battle Royal to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Title last week on RAW. While the brothers seem to have mended their differences this past Monday Night, there's still a lingering sense of unease between them that could come into play eventually.

Speaking on his NotSam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts speculated on what could lie ahead for Jimmy while Jey ascends back into the main event picture.

He suggested that WWE could book Jimmy Uso as the Bloodline Hunter. The RAW Recap host thinks Drew McIntyre's accusations from SmackDown might be true, as Jimmy could indeed be revealed as the person who attacked Jacob Fatu.

“While Drew was talking, he said, ‘You’re blaming me, maybe talk to Jimmy Uso, the black sheep of the family’. I go, oh my God, he just told us. Drew is always right. Jimmy did this. I think Jimmy attacked Jacob Fatu because Drew said it, and it does make sense. I think he attacked Jacob Fatu, and if you ask why, it’s going to start building. I think Jimmy’s gonna turn on Jey Uso, but it won’t be like SumerSlam because Jimmy’s gonna turn on Roman Reigns, too." (H/T - WrestleTalk)

Furthermore, Roberts spoke about how Jimmy has so far struggled to make a mark as a singles performer, unlike other members of The Bloodline, like his brother Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Sam Roberts explained that turning into the Bloodline Hunter could be the key to Jimmy Uso unlocking his full potential.

“What if Jimmy, who has been searching for that singles identity, the thing that separates him the way Sami found it, Jey found it, Solo found it, Roman found it. What if the thing that separates Jimmy from all of this is that Jimmy is hellbent on destroying it. Jimmy is the Bloodline Hunter."
