John Cena is set to face Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event in his final match before officially retiring from being an active in-ring WWE Superstar. A former champion recently predicted a scenario wherein many stars will interfere during Cena's final match. The name in question is Maven.

Last Friday on SmackDown, The Ring General defeated LA Knight in the final of The Last Time Is Now Tournament. He then cut a promo on RAW to hype up his match against The GOAT.

In an appearance on TMZ Sports' Inside The Ring podcast, three-time WWE Hardcore Champion Maven shared his prediction for John Cena's final match. He foresees a lot of action on the outside, which would give many stars the spotlight in one of the biggest nights in company history.

"I'm going to make a prediction. It will have interferences. I have a feeling this is going to be the type of match where they insert a lot of different characters, a lot of people are going to want to live in infamy. They're going to want to live forever. They're going to want to be remembered for Cena's last match. And what better time to put other characters over? What better time to give other people a little bit of a stage, a little bit of a rub," Maven said.

Maven also believes that Gunther is going to beat John Cena in the match because it's the right thing to do. Cena putting over someone like the former World Heavyweight Champion would help ensure the future of WWE is bright.

John Cena signs new contract with WWE

Speaking to Tom Rinaldi in an exclusive WWE interview on YouTube, John Cena revealed that he signed a new contract with the company. Cena will retire from being an active in-ring performer, but he's going to remain an ambassador for WWE.

"I will be an ambassador to WWE. I'm already signed on for another five years. Please, as long as you can do it. I would like to be in this family as an employee, as a contributing part for as long as I can," Cena said. [H/T: ClutchPoints]

With Cena being a budding Hollywood actor, his continued presence within WWE should help expand the reach of the company.
