AJ Styles is among the best in-ring performers in professional wrestling, nearing his retirement. However, a popular star has claimed that the 48-year-old will wrestle his last match next week on Monday Night RAW.The Phenomenal One joined forces with Dragon Lee earlier this year to form a tag team. The duo dethroned Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to become the new World Tag Team Champions on the October 20 episode of the red brand. They will defend the title against Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston this coming Monday.Earlier today, Xavier Woods posted a video of himself on X. While training with a skipping rope, The New Day member stated that they will win back the World Tag Team Championship on RAW. The veteran performer further shed light on his retirement plans in an interview with Tokyo Sports.Styles noted that he decided to retire because he wanted to go out on his own terms. The former WWE Champion said he has yet to decide what he will do after stepping away from the ring. However, AJ added that he might work with the Stamford-based promotion to help build up the next generation of stars."I don't want to show my fans a side of me that isn't AJ Styles. That's the main reason. I've decided to retire before my body can no longer move. I haven’t decided yet, but I think I’ll probably work for WWE. It might be good to help develop young talent into main roster-caliber wrestlers.
