Major star should finally return after 1,004 days to win the WWE Royal Rumble match, according to Chelsea Green

Reigning Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green made a big pitch for a future Royal Rumble match. Green suggested that a major star return and win the Rumble.

The leader of The Green Regime recently addressed the wild pitch made by Ed Koskey on WWE Unreal about her winning the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble match by entering at No. 30 when there are no stars left in the ring.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Chelsea Green admitted that it was a cool idea, but she wished it had never made the show because it wouldn't happen now. But if WWE wants to revisit it again, she wants Carmella to be the one to get the nod.

"God bless Ed. I wish he never said it. I wish it never aired, because now it won’t happen, that’s my thought. Is it now we have to wait at least five years for it to happen, and who knows where I’ll be in five years? When I watched it, I didn’t know that. Everything that you saw in Unreal, we’re not told these things. I thought that was such a good idea. I hope that they use it. Well, for me, yes. Chelsea Green also mentioned Billie Kay as another WWE star for whom the pitch could work. Kay is currently signed to TNA Wrestling, so she's more plausible.

Carmella, on the other hand, is no longer with WWE after her contract expired in February. Her last appearance for the company was on the March 13, 2023 episode of RAW.

Before becoming Chelsea Green, she made her WWE debut as Megan Miller in a segment with Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella on the August 11, 2014 episode of RAW. Meghan was having an affair with Daniel Bryan, so Brie slapped her hard in the face.

Green told Chris Van Vliet that the slap was so hard that she suffered an injury.

Fast forward to 11 years later, and Green is the Women's U.S. Champion, while Brie has teased coming out of retirement after Nikki Bella's return earlier this year.
