He was speaking about his son, Dominik Mysterio, when Redmond asked whether he would like to go for the Intercontinental Championship as well.When Rey Mysterio said that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of going for the IC Championship, Logan Paul entered the frame. The Maverick disrespected the Hall of Famer for thinking that he could get a shot at the belt, saying that he would retire the luchador. In response, Mysterio slapped Paul, who was then restrained by security.Now, WWE has advertised that The Maverick and Rey Mysterio will face each other on next week’s red-branded show. Logan Paul has previously defeated the LWO leader at the 2023 Crown Jewel to win the United States Championship for the first time.
