"Listening to you b**ch about" - The Undertaker reveals how Vince McMahon humiliated him in front of top WWE Stars despite winning his match

The Undertaker is one of WWE’s biggest icons and is also revered across the pro wrestling industry. Recently, The Phenom shed light on a moment when Vince McMahon humiliated him right in front of several other WWE stars after a world title match win.

Bayley appeared on the latest episode of Mark Calaway’s Six Feet Under podcast and talked about the frustration over being ejected from WrestleMania 41. In response, The Undertaker said he could relate and had a similar experience after one of his world title wins against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The Deadman said that Mr. McMahon didn’t like how things were proceeding with Calaway as the champ and wanted Austin to have the title back. However, instead of telling this to him in private, The Undertaker said that he called Triple H, Kane, and Austin into a room together with him and almost blamed ‘Taker for the fallout.

“I beat Stone Cold for the world title... Well, I think it may have been two, maybe three weeks later. We're doing TV, and Vince brings myself, Steve, Triple H, and Kane into a room, and he's pissed. He's like, this isn't working. Now, I think Kane, I don't remember what title Kane had. He had a title, or he was doing something. Triple H was the Intercontinental Champion. I was the world champion. And he goes, ‘Look, this isn't working. We're going to change things up.’ He says, we're going to switch this title back to Steve tonight. And then I'm waiting, and I'm like, okay, well, what are they going to do? I guess they're going to take the title off. He was that upset. Well, basically, the only thing that was changing was the fact that I wasn't getting over as a champ."

The Undertaker said that while this did chip away at his ego, he would’ve been better able to take the news had it been relayed to him in a non-accusatory manner and in private.

"And so I'm trying to process that, right? Because that's a blow. That's obviously a blow to your ego. Yeah, especially to be said in front of your peers, too. Exactly, right? It would have been one thing to pull me into the room and say, 'Hey, look, this isn't what we thought it was going to be. We're going to put the belt back on Steve.' Okay? I'm a professional. I can handle that. But some of the guys that I respect most in the business are in here and listening to you bi**h about all this, and all the fingers are pointing at me."

The Undertaker is a four-time WWE Champion and a three-time World Heavyweight Champion. Alongside seven world title runs, The Phenom also enjoyed a 21-0 WrestleMania winning streak before Brock Lesnar gave him his first defeat in 2014.

WWE has launched a new and exclusive YouTube channel for The Undertaker. The channel will feature full-length videos of all his iconic matches, backstage stories, compilations, and more. The channel will also be the new home of the Six Feet Under podcast.

The Deadman had launched his podcast independently back in 2024. Seeing the numbers it was bringing in, WWE and Fanatics acquired the podcast where The Phenom talks to prominent names in the pro wrestling industry.

The channel has already acquired more than 40,000 subscribers shortly after its launch. ‘Taker will also upload reaction videos and blogs to the new channel, along with other additional content.
