WWE star Dominik Mysterio had a tough night on RAW this week. The star was on the show with the rest of Judgment Day.Ever since winning the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, Dirty Dom has used any means possible to hold on to the gold. The star has employed several underhanded tactics to ensure that his opponents always fall short. In fact, his Judgment Day members have even called out the star for cheating. Mysterio also holds the AAA Mega Championship, a title he won after defeating El Hijo del Vikingo.During a backstage segment this week on the red brand, Dominik Mysterio was complaining about how RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is always conspiring against him. He mentioned that Pearce had set up a match between Penta and Rusev to determine his next challenger. The IC champion asked his Judgment Day members for help. However, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor were not interested. They were angry with Mysterio for costing them the World Tag Team Championship last week. McDonagh told Dirty Dom he was on his own, and the two walked out on the star.Dominik Mysterio will defend the IC title at Saturday Night's Main EventWith Finn Balor and JD McDonagh out of the picture, Dominik Mysterio took matters into his own hands. He got on the phone and called somebody, asking for assistance.As Penta and Rusev battled it out for a shot at the IC Title, Los Americanos showed up. Their interference led to the match ending in a no-contest with no clear winner.Pearce saw through the whole scheme and was irate with the champ. He confronted Mysterio backstage. He informed the champion that he would now defend the Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event against Penta and Rusev in a Triple Threat Match.
