While it will revolve around the GOAT's retirement match, the rest of the show, as per Cena's request, was to have it be an exhibition for the up-and-coming stars of NXT. As a result, we're getting some incredible matches, such as Bayley vs the highly-popular Sol Ruca, who is a former NXT North American Women's Champion. It was also revealed by Cody Rhodes on SmackDown that the winner of the NXT Title match between Ricky Saints (c) and Oba Femi would face the American Nightmare at SNME.That is perhaps why Booker T said that John Cena has his handprints all over the show. Unlike other NXT shows, the Deadline show is very likely a litmus test to feature which NXT stars could potentially get a spot at Saturday Night's Main Event next week.It would also make sense as to why only two matches were officially announced for the show. Normally, SNME shows don't feature more than four to five matches, which means that there is only room for a couple of more matches to be added, meaning that potentially only two NXT stars could be added to the mix.Ultimately, this is all speculation, but considering the eyeballs that will be on them next week at SNME, every NXT star will want to give everything they have to make sure that they get a big spot. It will be a bigger spotlight than any of them have ever received in their young careers.
