The hype for the women's match was real, as NXT has been praised as having the best women's division in all of wrestling. With the lineup that Cena announced featuring Evolve Women's Champion Kendal Gray, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, former NXT North American Women's Champions Kelani Jordan & Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice to complete the field, it might have been the most stacked Iron Survivor match ever.The match was worth all the hype, because in the 25-minute timeframe, the scores were tied 2 each for every competitor until the final seconds of the match. Evolve Women's Champion Kendal Gray had just gotten out of the penalty box (where competitors have to be for 90 seconds) and managed to score the winning pinfall in the chaotic final seconds of the match to pull off a huge upset. Kendal Gray, who spoke highly of John Cena prior to the match, will now be facing Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship at New Year's Evil.Kendal Gray isn't a name known to many, but at 24 years old, it seems to be a matter of time before she gets there. The match was chaotic in every way possible, and it seemed like anyone could have won the match at any time. The 3-2-2-2-2 scoreboard is indicative of that.The women's division proved why they receive so much praise, and Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan kept brawling post-match.
