Cena and Rocky are two of the greatest names to ever step inside the squared circle. Both stars have now shifted their careers to Hollywood. Although The People's Champion is yet to officially retire from in-ring competition, Cena has made it clear that he won't step inside the squared circle after his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.

Ahead of his last match, Cena recently took to Instagram to dedicate a post to his former wrestling rival. The Rock was recently nominated for his first Golden Globe in the Best Actor category for his recent movie, The Smashing Machine. This is a huge achievement for The Final Boss' film career.

As usual, The Cenation Leader did not write anything in the post's caption, but he recognized Rocky's incredible milestone by dedicating a post to the latter.

WWE legend believes John Cena will face The Rock at WrestleMania 42

John is set to wrestle in his final match against Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. However, during a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE legend Bully Ray said that he believes Cena won't retire from in-ring competition this year.

Ray added that he feels The Rock will return to WWE television during Cena's clash at SNME to set up a match for WrestleMania 42.

"For some reason, I don’t think this ends in Washington, D.C. for John Cena. And I would not be shocked if, in the midst of all of the happy, happy, joy, joy, [Rock’s theme song] ‘If you smell what The Rock is cooking [plays]. I’ve said this before, it just doesn’t sound right — John Cena, last match, Washington, D.C., Saturday Night’s Main Event. What sounds right is John Cena, last match, WrestleMania, Las Vegas.”

It remains to be seen if the Triple H-led creative team has planned anything for a possible clash between Cena and Rocky in the future.
