John Cena has confirmed his opponent for Survivor Series 2025, and he will be putting his newly won Intercontinental Championship on the line in San Diego, where his opponent will have a home-field advantage. For context, last week on RAW, John Cena made his final appearance as a performer in his hometown of Boston. There, he won the Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio, completing his Grand Slam Champion status and ending "Dirty" Dom's reign that lasted for over half a year. This week, he was once again confronted by Dominik Mysterio, whom he offered to face in his final RAW appearance.Dominik refused Cena's challenge and said that last week, he had management behind him as well as his hometown crowd. Dominik then reiterated that he wanted home-field advantage of his own, and since Survivor Series is in his hometown of San Diego, that's where he would face the 17-time World Champion. John Cena, being the man he is, accepted his challenge for Survivor Series and will face Dominik Mysterio in a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship.Cena had no issues giving Dominik what he wanted, but the greatest of all time also emphasized that he specifically said he would compete in his last RAW appearance. So he asked Dominik to forget about the Intercontinental title and go one-on-one with him.As that happened, The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh came out, and they launched an assault on Cena, leading to two legends, Rey Mysterio and Sheamus, coming out to save him. This would set up Cena's last-ever RAW match, as there were now two men on his side, and he asked for the bell to be rung.Sheamus has already advanced in the "Last Time is Now" tournament, while Rey Mysterio also recently confronted Dominik.
