John Cena continues to strengthen his legacy. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, the GOAT got a hero's welcome in Boston, Massachusetts, and left with the Intercontinental Championship. And while the title finally earned him the status of Grand Slam Champion, it also secured a record of his that may never be broken.Back in 2005, John Cena was drafted to Monday Night RAW after three years as a SmackDown Superstar. The Chain Gang Leader took the WWE Championship with him, while Dave Batista and the World Heavyweight Title would go to the Blue Brand. Cena's first bout saw him team up with Chris Jericho, defeating Christian and Tyson Tomko. After a win, Jericho turned on Cena, leading to his first real feud on Monday nights. After the championship victory over Dirty Dominik Mysterio on RAW, Cena took to Twitter to thank the WWE Universe for allowing him to grace their TV screens for 23 years. He also confirmed an incredible record, 544 RAW matches, something that more than likely will never be duplicated or surpassed."Over 23 years you've allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERAW. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE! Don't miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET!" Who will John Cena face in his final match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event? Two weeks ago, it was announced that John Cena's final opponent would be decided in a 16-man tournament featuring talent from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even talent from "outside" (most likely TNA, Evolve, or AAA). So far, Rusev, Damian Priest, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jey Uso, The Miz, Gunther, Je'Von Evans, Solo Sikoa, and LA Knight have been revealed as contestants, with Knight and Sikoa getting mystery opponents. Rusev defeated Damian Priest in an opening round match-up, and Sheamus overcame Nakamura. We'll learn of the last four on SmackDown this week, though Nick Aldis might also keep one or two a surprise. So far, many feel that this will be Gunther's moment, regaining the Intercontinental Title at SNME, but it's not exactly a guarantee.
