The Cenation Leader appeared on The Joe Rogan Podcast today, and Vince McMahon came up during the conversation. John Cena noted that McMahon did a lot for professional wrestling, but still deserves to be held accountable for his actions.

“I’ve learned to become a little bit more accountable for what I say. And just because I feel a certain way about a person doesn’t exonerate them from being accountable for their actions. Just because he did start, quote-unquote, all this gangster sh*t, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to be accountable for his actions," he said. [H/T: Ringside News]

In an interview on The Bill Simmons Podcast, the veteran said he didn't want Mr. McMahon to go because of the bond they had formed over the years while working together in the company.

"I never wanted Vince [McMahon] to go because I love him, and I know how much he loves the business, but he taught me like we're all going to go. All of us. And he taught me that not only through saying but also through his actions," Cena said.
