The collaboration between WWE and TNA has turned out to be quite beneficial for both brands. However, TNA has been paying the price in one way. Most of the TNA champions are currently WWE superstars, which has been quite an exciting twist, keeping the doors open for potential storylines between both NXT and the Santino Marella-managed brand. This week’s episode of NXT featured the NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page, calling out Tony D’Angelo to understand what the latter really had in mind. However, Page was interrupted by Stacks, who tried to take the conversation forward, before TNA Wrestling Icon Moose came out.The latter pointed out that most of the champions of TNA were NXT stars, and that the former brand’s locked room was completely outrageous at this. Further, the star mentioned that while NXT stars held titles from his brand, he would love to take over some NXT titles to even the odds. This led to Moose challenging Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship. While Page tried to reject it, Moose announced that both Ava and Santino Marella were already on board for the match, and that it would happen on the December 30 edition of NXT.Will Moose be able to hold a WWE title any time soon? While TNA Wrestling legend Moose is set to challenge Ethan Page for a WWE title, it is not easy to predict if he will hold the title anytime soon. TNA stars taking over control by holding NXT titles won’t be a good look for the Shawn Michaels-led brand, as well as the roster. While a potential win for Moose would undoubtedly add a massive twist to the storyline, it could end up having some negative implications for NXT. Time will tell what the company has in store for the stars next.
