WWE legend Mark Henry recently spoke about Nick Aldis getting frustrated with the proceedings on SmackDown. The General Manager had a tough night on the blue brand this Friday.

Aldis made the call to suspend Drew McIntyre after his actions a few weeks ago. However, Paul Heyman named the Scottish Warrior as part of his WarGames team, making him a fixture on the blue brand. This week, McIntyre attacked Cody in his tour bus. This angered Aldis, and he confronted The Vision backstage, claiming that his hands were tied, but he would take some action against the group soon.

On the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, Mark Henry detailed that Aldis looked visibly frustrated this week on SmackDown. He pointed out that the GM was the ultimate boss of the show, and he was visibly irritated by having his authority undermined every time by The Vision and Drew McIntyre. Henry felt it was only a matter of time before Nick got angry and took matters into his own hands.

"Nick Aldis looks like he's getting fed up. He has this expression of, 'Am I gonna have to punch you in the face for you to listen to what I'm saying?' I don't know if it's just me, but I know that look when I see it. It's a look of frustration. It's a look of the fact that your word is not enough. I'm sure that he's very tired, very tired, of having to go to the powers that be to get information and directives because he's the boss on that show."

Nick Aldis should take charge

During the conversation, Mark Henry believed that Nick Aldis should take control of the show. He felt the SmackDown GM needed to make some harsh decisions to show that he was still in charge.

"If I'm the boss, let me be the boss. I don't want to have to call nobody for directives. I don't want to call anyone on what I should do."

With WarGames just a week away, it will be interesting to see how the authority figures, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, control things at the TV tapings.
